App privacy policy
Last updated: July 2026

1. App publisher

The Qeewee app is published and hosted by apus3.com Sàrl, Sàrl, (CHE-113.005.964). Address: Route en Champ Didon 136, 1740 Neyruz, CH. Contact: privacy@apus3.com — apus3.com.

2. Roles and responsibilities

Qeewee is an app for the members and volunteers of a church. The data you enter concerns your church: it is the data controller (within the meaning of the GDPR). apus3 publishes, hosts and technically operates the app on behalf of your church, as a processor. This policy describes how the app processes your data; for your church's own use of it, please refer to that church's privacy policy.

3. Data processed

The app processes: your identity (last name, first name, email address) and your member account credentials; the content you enter (unavailability, replies to service requests, messages in your group threads, profile information); where applicable, your donation history and your statements, as well as the link with your children if you are a parent; a technical identifier for your device when you enable notifications; technical log data needed for the security and proper operation of the service. Payment data for a donation is processed directly by the payment provider and is not stored by the app.

4. Purposes

This data is used to: authenticate you and manage your account; give you access to your services, groups, donations and, for parents, to children's check-in; send you the notifications that concern you; ensure the security and maintenance of the app. No data is used for advertising purposes and no data is sold.

5. Legal basis

Processing is based on the performance of the service you request (access to the member area), on the legitimate interest in ensuring the security and proper operation of the app, and on your consent for push notifications (which you can withdraw at any time in your device settings).

6. Recipients and processors

Your data is accessible to the authorised leaders of your church and to apus3 for operating the service. To provide the app, apus3 uses the following processors:

  • OVH SAS — Hosting (European Union (France))
  • Stripe Payments Europe Ltd — Online payments (international) (European Union (Ireland))
  • Payrexx AG — Online payments (Switzerland) (Switzerland)
  • Sinch (Mailjet) — Email delivery (European Union)
  • Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd — Microsoft sign-in (SSO) (EU / United States)
  • Google Ireland Ltd (Firebase Cloud Messaging) — Push notifications for the mobile app (EU / United States)

7. Hosting and transfers

Data is hosted within the European Union. Some processors (push notifications, Microsoft sign-in) may involve transfers outside the EU, covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses).

8. Retention period

Your data is kept for as long as your member account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is erased or anonymised; some information may be retained where the law requires it (for example for accounting purposes in the case of donations).

9. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection. You can delete your account directly in the app (Profile, then Delete my account). For any other request, contact privacy@apus3.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

10. Notifications

If you enable them, the app sends you notifications (new group message, service reminder, etc.) through Google's messaging service (Firebase). You can turn them off at any time in your device's notification settings.

11. Changes

This policy may be updated. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page. For any question, write to privacy@apus3.com.
